FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is a GTM engineer?+
A GTM (go-to-market) engineer builds and operates the technical systems behind revenue: data, enrichment, scoring, routing, outbound machinery, and AI workflows. Their output is a system, not a set of calls or meetings.
How is this different from an outbound or lead-gen agency?+
Outbound agencies typically sell campaigns and meetings. We build the underlying revenue engine and hand it to you. Outbound is one layer of what we build, not the whole offer.
Do we keep everything if we stop working with you?+
Yes. Workflows, documentation, and accounts are yours. We state this in the contract. You do not rent a black box.
How is this different from RevOps?+
RevOps runs and governs your revenue process on an operating cadence (forecasting, reporting, CRM administration). GTM engineering builds new machinery. In smaller companies one person does both. We can work alongside your RevOps team.
Who pays for software and data credits?+
You hold the tool accounts and pay for them directly, so you own them from day one. Our fees cover design, build, documentation, and handover — not your Clay, sequencer, or enrichment credits.
How long until we see results?+
It depends on where you start. A messy CRM needs cleanup before automation makes sense. Expect the first working system in weeks, not days, and meaningful pipeline impact after the foundation is in place. We give you a realistic timeline in the audit.
Do you guarantee meetings or revenue?+
We don't guarantee meetings, because outcomes depend on your offer, market, and sales follow-up. We do commit to defined deliverables and clear metrics, and we report honestly against baseline.
What tools do you use?+
We choose tools to fit your stack. Commonly: Clay, n8n, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Instantly or Smartlead, Snowflake, and Claude or GPT. We only recommend tools we can actually implement.
Is AI safe to use for outreach and research?+
We use AI where it's reliable (research, drafting, summarizing) with human review, and deterministic logic where precision matters (scoring, routing). We'll tell you what we wouldn't automate.
Is cold email still effective?+
It can be when it's targeted, relevant, and technically sound. Poor targeting and weak deliverability are what hurt results. We build for both.
What size companies do you work with?+
B2B SaaS and tech-enabled services, typically 10 to 200 employees, founder-led or with a first sales leader, messy CRM, and no one owning revenue systems.
How do we get started?+
Book a free GTM audit. We'll tell you the top fixes and whether we're a fit.
